The Dashr Silver Difference

Dashr Silver is a reflectorless laser timing system designed for a smaller timing footprint. Each Silver Laser Module sits on a mini tripod and can be used as part of a sprint, agility, split, lap, or multi-lane timing setup.

The system also supports athlete data management. Coaches can use Roster Spots to assign results to athlete profiles, or athletes can connect through the free Dashr Player Profile App so results can be shared without using Roster Spots.

Setup

Register each Silver Laser Module in the Dashr app once per phone or tablet. For testing, open the app, select the drill, set the required number of lasers on mini tripods, connect each laser to a USB battery, connect the devices in the app, run a trial to verify setup, then start testing.

For reliable timing, athletes should pass 2.5-5 feet from the laser. Keep the phone or tablet within 5 yards of the starting laser, and do not place the device on the ground while operating the system.

A comparison chart for the Dashr Silver 2-Gate System highlights its best uses and applications, including agility drills, start-to-finish timing, and two-split or multi-lane testing.

Dashr Silver 3-Gate System

SKU: DA-S203

Price range: $1,390.00 through $2,090.00

Ideal For: Coaches and trainers who want start-to-finish sprint timing plus one split inside the run.

The Dashr Silver 3-Gate System helps coaches see where speed changes during the sprint, not just the final result. With a start, split, and finish gate, athletes get better feedback on the part of the run they need to improve.

  • Show where athletes gain or lose time: one split helps coaches see what happens inside the sprint.
  • Make feedback more specific: athletes can see whether they need to improve acceleration, transition, or finish speed.
  • Turn split data into training focus: coaches can adjust drills based on where performance breaks down.
  • Track progress across sessions: saved results help coaches compare both split times and final times over time.
  • Keep athletes engaged with better feedback: athletes get more than one number to compete against each session.
  • Build from sprint timing to deeper analysis: three gates give coaches more context without moving to a larger testing setup.
