What does the 1080 Cable help athletes improve?
It helps athletes produce more power by training and measuring strength, speed, force, power, range of motion, and time under tension.
How is it different from a traditional cable stack?
A traditional cable stack provides fixed weight resistance. The 1080 Cable adds motorized resistance, eccentric overload, isokinetic loading, velocity-based feedback, and athlete data.
What exercises can coaches use it for?
Multi-joint strength work, open-chain and closed-chain movements, rotational training, unilateral testing, rehab progressions, eccentric overload work, and isokinetic testing.
Can coaches test left-right differences?
Yes. The manual notes the system can evaluate output imbalances by comparing left-sided and right-sided unilateral movements.
Can data be stored?
Yes, with a login and the 1080 Control App. Quick-start reps show real-time metrics on the machine, but that data is deleted when the app closes.
Does it require Wi-Fi?
No, not to get started. The tablet can be on or off Wi-Fi during a session. Wi-Fi is needed to sync recorded data to the cloud.
What device is needed for the Control App?
The 1080 Control App runs on Windows 11 Surface Go/Pro tablets or laptops. A tablet or laptop is not included.
What is the battery life?
The product page lists approximately 6 hours of battery life and an FAA-compliant removable 99 Wh battery.
Can the 1080 Cable be used outdoors?
No. The user manual states that the 1080 Cable is an indoor product and should not be exposed to outdoor environments.
What maintenance is required?
Regular inspection and maintenance include checking the line, attachments, charging cord, nuts and bolts, and cleaning the touchscreen and machine surfaces with appropriate materials.

1080 Cable
$17,900.00
Ideal for: Strength coaches, rehab professionals, teams, and performance facilities that need precise loading, power feedback, and objective strength testing.
The 1080 Cable combines cable training with motorized resistance and real-time data, helping coaches build strength and power with more control. Use concentric loading, eccentric overload, isokinetic resistance, and velocity feedback to match the load to the athlete, movement, and training goal.
- Produce more power with measurable feedback: track speed, force, time, power, range of motion, and time under tension.
- Train intent on every rep: real-time feedback gives athletes a number to chase.
- Control every phase of the movement: adjust concentric load, eccentric load, and isokinetic resistance.
- Individualize strength training: match resistance to the athlete, exercise, and goal.
- Test strength and asymmetry: compare left-right output and monitor progress over time.
- Train more movement patterns: use it for bilateral, unilateral, rotational, rehab, and sport-specific strength work.
- Fit the line of pull to the exercise: adjustable mounting helps position resistance where the movement needs it.
