Freelap Difference

Freelap gives coaches accurate sprint timing with a smaller footprint than many traditional timing setups with tripods. The Tx Junior Pro is a small, low-profile transmitter that can be set as START, LAP, or FINISH, making it easy to build timing zones without adding a large amount of equipment to the training space. The TxJr is wind and rain resistant.

The subscription free MyFreelap app also helps coaches and athletes use timing data beyond a single session. Results can be stored over time, making it easier to see progress, plateaus, and fatigue trends across training blocks.

Setup

Place the e-Starter at the start, set the Tx Junior Pro as the finish transmitter, clip the chip vertically at the athlete’s navel, open MyFreelap, and start the workout. Add LAP transmitters later if you want split times.

Ideal For:Teams, schools, and performance facilities timing larger groups that need more athletes wearing chips during the same session.

The Freelap Timing Pack 824 helps teams get faster by giving athletes instant sprint feedback and giving coaches stored data they can use across training blocks. With 8 athlete chips and 4 Tx Junior Pro transmitters, coaches can run start-to-finish timing, flying sprints, and split-based workouts while keeping larger groups moving.

  • Turn every sprint into a number athletes want to beat: immediate app results help athletes compete with their last rep and train with more intent.
  • Keep larger groups moving: 8 chips reduce waiting and make team timing sessions easier to manage.
  • Show whether speed training is working: saved results help coaches compare sessions, identify gains, spot plateaus, and monitor fatigue trends.
  • Build the timing setup around the drill: use 4 Tx Junior Pro transmitters for start, finish, and split timing.
  • Choose the chip that fits the athlete: BLE gives timing data for most users; FxMotion adds stride length, stride frequency, and more granular speed-development data.
  • Add track-style starts when needed: optional e-Starters support SET/BANG audible starts and reaction-time workflows with FxMotion.
  • Use a compact timing footprint: Tx Junior Pro transmitters are low-profile timing points for tracks, turf, fields, and shared training spaces.

The Tx Junior Pro transmitter can be used for all types of starts including standing, three-point, four-point, block, rolling, and flying starts and to collect split times.
