What does Land On Mat measure?
In Land On Mat mode, the athlete jumps onto the mat and lands back on the mat. The display shows ground contact time and vertical jump height.
What does Land Off Mat measure?
In Land Off Mat mode, the athlete jumps onto the mat and lands off the mat. The display shows ground contact time to the nearest hundredth of a second.
Can the Standard Just Jump System measure ground contact time?
The Standard system reports average ground time in repeated-jump modes such as Jump 4 Times and Jump 60 Times. Choose the Plyometric system if you need the dedicated Plyometrics feature for single-rep ground contact time testing.
Can the Just Jump System time sprints?
Yes. Sprint Timer mode starts from a loud sound such as āGoā or a whistle and stops when the runner steps on the mat. The manufacturer instructions say distances up to 999 ft can be selected and sprint time displays to the nearest hundredth of a second.
What surface should the mat be used on?
Use the mat on a hard, level surface such as a gym floor or concrete sidewalk. Do not place it on an uneven, wet, sandy, grassy, or soft surface.
